Find in Camera

Privacy Policy

Effective August 18, 2026

The short version: Find in Camera processes camera frames on your device and does not collect, store, transmit, sell, or share personal data.

Data collection

Find in Camera has no account system, advertising, analytics, tracking, or third-party SDKs. Qijia Liu does not receive your camera images, recognized text, search queries, device identifiers, location, contacts, or usage information.

Camera and text recognition

The app requests camera permission to recognize and highlight matching text on a physical page. Camera frames are processed temporarily on your device using Apple’s Vision framework. Frames and recognized text are not saved or sent off your device.

Permissions

Camera access is required for the core scanning feature. You can revoke access at any time in iOS Settings. The app does not request access to your microphone, photo library, contacts, location, or tracking data.

Data retention and deletion

Because Find in Camera does not collect or retain personal data, Qijia Liu has no personal data to retain or delete.

Children’s privacy

The app is suitable for a general audience and does not knowingly collect information from children or anyone else.

Changes

If this policy changes, the effective date above will be updated and the revised policy will be made available on this page and inside the app.
